Arizona is 1-6 against Utah since November of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Saturday. The Arizona Wildcats will be playing at home against the Utah Utes at 2:30 p.m. ET at Arizona Stadium. Arizona will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
Arizona was not the first on the board last Saturday, but they got there more often. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 34-31 win over Colorado.
Among those leading the charge was Jonah Coleman, who rushed for 179 yards on only 11 carries. Coleman was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 54 yards. Another player making a difference was Noah Fifita, who threw for 214 yards and two touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Utah came up short against Washington on Saturday and fell 35-28.
Despite their defeat, Utah saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Bryson Barnes, who threw for 267 yards and two touchdowns, was perhaps the best of all. Ja'Quinden Jackson also helped with two touchdowns in total.
With Arizona's victory and Utah's defeat, both teams now sport identical 7-3 records.
While only Arizona took care of their fans the last time they played, neither team managed to cover. Looking ahead, Arizona is the favorite in this one, as the experts expect to see them win by a single point. For those looking to play the spread, take note: they are a solid 5-0 against the spread when playing at home.
