Duke vs. UCF Live updates Score, results, highlights, for Wednesday's NCAA Football game
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Duke vs. UCF football game
The Duke Blue Devils and the UCF Knights will compete for holiday cheer in the Military Bowl on Wednesday at Jack Stephens Field at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium at 2 p.m. ET. Duke should still be riding high after a victory, while the Knights will be looking to get back in the win column.
The Blue Devils sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 34-31 win over the Wake Forest Demon Deacons four weeks ago. Duke's QB Riley Leonard did his thing and passed for four TDs and 391 yards on 41 attempts.
Meanwhile, the game between UCF and the Tulane Green Wave three weeks ago was not a total blowout, but with UCF falling 45-28 on the road, it was darn close to turning into one. UCF's loss came about despite a quality game from WR Kobe Hudson, who caught four passes for two TDs and 98 yards.
Two numbers to keep in mind before kickoff: Duke ranks sixth in the nation when it comes to rushing touchdowns allowed, with only eight on the season. But the Knights enter the matchup with 33 rushing touchdowns, good for 11th best in the nation. We'll see if the Blue Devils' defense can keep UCF's running backs out of the end zone.
