After a dominant win in their game last Thursday, the Southern Illinois Salukis were humbled on Saturday. They took a 31-23 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Kansas State Wildcats.
The loss dropped SIU back to even at 1-1. K-State's victory brought them up to 2-0.
The Salukis will take on the Dayton Flyers at 7 p.m. ET next Saturday at Saluki Stadium. K-State will be hunkering down at home again for their matchup against the Nevada Wolf Pack at 2:05 p.m. ET Sept. 18 at Bill Snyder Family Stadium.
