Nebraska vs. Maryland Live updates Score, results, highlights, for Saturday's NCAA Football game
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Nebraska vs. Maryland football game
The Maryland Terrapins will head out on the road to face off against the Nebraska Cornhuskers at 12:00 p.m. ET on Saturday at Tom Osborne Field at Memorial Stadium. Despite being away, Maryland is looking at a 2.5-point advantage in the spread.
Maryland's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their fourth straight loss. There's no need to mince words: Maryland lost to Penn State, and Maryland lost bad. The score wound up at 51-15.
The Terrapins weren't very productive on the ground and finished the game with only -49 rushing yards. They were demolished by their opponents in that department as Penn State rushed for 158.
Meanwhile, the defenses reigned supreme when Nebraska and Michigan State played on Saturday, rewarding bettors who took the risk on the low 35-point over/under. Nebraska fell just short of Michigan State by a score of 20-17. The matchup was a 10-10 toss-up at halftime, but Nebraska was just barely outscored by Michigan State in the second.
Nobody from Nebraska had a standout game, but they got scores from Emmett Johnson and Heinrich Haarberg.
The losses dropped both teams to an identical 5-4.
