Live scores, highlights and updates from the Rutgers vs. Temple football game
The Rutgers Scarlet Knights will be playing at home against the Temple Owls at 7:30 p.m. ET on Saturday at SHI Stadium. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Rutgers took care of business in their home opener on Sunday. Rutgers walked away with a 24-7 win over Northwestern. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Rutgers had established a 24 point advantage.
Meanwhile, Temple slipped by Akron 24-21 on Saturday.
Looking ahead, Rutgers shouldn't be too worried about this matchup, as the experts have them favored by nine points. They finished last season with a 4-7 record against the spread.
Rutgers barely slipped by Temple in their previous matchup last September, winning 16-14. Will Rutgers repeat their success, or do Temple have a better game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
