South Florida vs. Tulsa Live updates Score, results, highlights, for Saturday's NCAA Football game
Live scores, highlights and updates from the South Florida vs. Tulsa football game
The South Florida Bulls will be returning home after a two-game road trip. Their week off comes to an end as they meet up with the Tulsa Golden Hurricane at noon ET at Raymond James Stadium on Saturday. Tulsa will be strutting in after a win while the Bulls will be stumbling in from a loss.
South Florida found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unfortunate 41-17 punch to the gut against the SMU Mustangs two weeks ago. One thing holding South Florida back was the mediocre play of QB Timmy McClain, who did not have his best game: besides failing to produce a single touchdown, he fumbled the ball once.
Meanwhile, Tulsa didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup with the Memphis Tigers last week, but they still walked away with a 35-29 victory. Tulsa's RB Shamari Brooks was one of the most active players for the team, rushing for two TDs and 126 yards on 26 carries.
South Florida is expected to lose this next one by 8.5. Those burned by picking them against the spread two weeks ago might want to keep in mind that the squad has not yet dropped back-to-back games against the spread this season.
The Bulls are now 1-4 while the Golden Hurricane sit at 2-4. A pair of defensive stats to keep an eye on: South Florida is stumbling into the contest with the 231st most yards allowed per game in the nation, having given up 495.4 on average. Tulsa has experienced some struggles of their own as they are 227th worst in the nation in touchdowns allowed, with 19 on the season. It's possible one of these Achilles' heels will wind up tripping the losing team up.
