Toledo vs. Miami of Ohio Live updates Score, results, highlights, for Saturday's NCAA Football game
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Toledo vs. Miami (OH) football game
The Miami of Ohio RedHawks and the Toledo Rockets are set to square off in a Mid American battle at 12:00 p.m. ET on December 2nd at Ford Field. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Miami of Ohio comes in on four and Toledo on 11.
The defenses reigned supreme when Miami of Ohio and Ball State played on Saturday, rewarding bettors who took the risk on the low 34.5-point over/under. Miami of Ohio had just enough and edged Ball State out 17-15.
Meanwhile, Toledo has more to be thankful for after their game against Central Michigan on Friday. Toledo took down Central Michigan 32-17. 32 seems to be a good number for Toledo as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.
Peny Boone was his usual excellent self, rushing for 186 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.9 yards per carry. Boone was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 64 yards.
Another reason for the win was Toledo's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for four sacks. Judge Culpepper was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up 2.5 sacks himself.
Their wins bumped Miami of Ohio to 10-2 and Ball State to 4-8.
Miami of Ohio will be fighting an uphill battle on Saturday as the experts have pegged them as the 7.5-point underdog. For those looking to play the spread, keep Miami of Ohio in mind: they have a solid 9-3 record against the spread this season.
