Live scores, highlights and updates from the UCF vs. Memphis football game
Game Recap
The Memphis Tigers were the 50-49 winners over the UCF Knights when they previously met last October. On Friday? They had no such luck. The game between them was not particularly close, with the Tigers falling 24-7. That's the fewest points they have scored all season.
UCF's WR Ryan O'Keefe looked sharp as he punched in one rushing touchdown in addition to snatching one receiving TD. On the other hand, one thorn in UCF's side was the less-than-spectacular play of QB Mikey Keene, who threw one interception with only 64 yards passing.
Memphis' only offensive touchdown came from RB Brandon Thomas.
The loss dropped Memphis back to even at 4-4. UCF's victory brought them up to 4-3.
The Tigers will have some time to rest before their next matchup, which is against the SMU Mustangs at 1 p.m. ET in two weeks at Liberty Bowl Memorial. As for the Knights, they will face off against the Temple Owls at noon ET next week at Lincoln Financial Field.
