Dontay Demus: Loses his spot
Demis was cut from the Ravens' practice squad Tuesday, Ryan Mink of the team's official site reports.
Demus joined Baltimore as an undrafted free agent out of Maryland, and after being unable to make the 53-man roster, the receiver joined the practice squad last Tuesday. The reunion was short lived though, as the 23-year-old is now a free agent again.

Dontay Demus: Joining Ravens' practice squad
Baltimore signed Demus to its practice squad Tuesday, Clifton Brown of the Ravens' official site reports.
As the team deals with a plague of injuries to its wide receiver room, it decided to bring Demus on board to provide some depth at the position. He's yet to see any regular-season NFL action, but that could change relatively soon given Baltimore's injury luck so far this year.

Dontay Demus: Waived by Ravens
The Ravens waived Demus on Monday, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports.
Demus was vying for a depth receiver role with Baltimore, but he was competing against a plethora of players and ultimately came up short. The undrafted free agent played five years at Maryland and was attempting to stay close to home in Baltimore. It remains to be seen if he will get the chance to join their practice squad or if he will have to venture elsewhere.

Ravens' Dontay Demus: Staying in the D.C. Area
Demus has inked a deal with the Ravens as an undrafted free agent Saturday.
In Demus' five years with Maryland, he accumulated 128 receptions for 2,008 yards and 14 touchdowns, with his most productive year coming his sophomore season (41-625-6). Baltimore's new and improved wide receiver room will be tough to crack, so expect Demus to compete for a spot on the practice squad ahead of the upcoming season.
