Cardinals' Michael Wilson: In concussion protocol
Wilson is in the NFL's concussion protocol, Theo Mackie of The Arizona Republic reports.
Wilson had to leave practice early Friday after colliding with Budda Baker's right knee while trying to catch a pass. Head coach Jonathan Gannon said Saturday that Baker is fine, but Wilson won't be able to practice until he clears concussion protocol. That leaves Arizona without its top two wideouts at the moment, as Marvin Harrison Jr. will miss his third straight day of practice Saturday while battling a knee issue and an illness, per Cameron Cox of 12 Sports AZ.

Cardinals' Michael Wilson: Leaves practice after hit
Wilson took a hit to the helmet or upper body during Friday's practice and went to the locker room, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
Wilson laid out for a Kyler Murray pass, and as the ball arrived he clipped safety Budda Baker's right knee. Both players remained down for a spell before getting to their feet, but only Wilson left the field, perhaps to get a concussion check. The nature of Wilson's injury likely will become known once he undergoes testing.

Cardinals' Michael Wilson: Good to go for OTAs
Wilson (hamstring) is participating in Arizona's voluntary OTAs without any apparent restrictions, per the Cardinals' official site.
Wilson missed Arizona's season finale in 2024 due to a hamstring injury, but he suited up for the team's other 16 regular-season games and secured 47 of 71 targets for 548 yards and four touchdowns. He also rushed once for seven yards. Despite drawing 13 more targets in Year 2, Wilson finished with a relatively similar receiving line to the 38 grabs for 565 yards and three scores he compiled as a rookie, due in large part to his yards per catch dropping from 14.9 to 11.7. With the Cardinals having opted against adding significant competition to the pass-catching corps this offseason, Wilson is positioned to reprise a starting role and operate as Kyler Murray's likely third target behind No. 1 wideout Marvin Harrison and tight end Trey McBride.

Cardinals' Michael Wilson: Sitting out season finale
Wilson (hamstring) is listed as inactive Sunday versus the 49ers, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
Wilson was a late-week addition to the Cardinals' practice report Friday as limited due to a hamstring injury. Such a development could have been worrisome for the second-year wide receiver, and indeed he won't be available to the offense Sunday. As a result, more targets have been freed up for the likes of Greg Dortch, Zay Jones, Zach Pascal and Xavier Weaver behind top WR Marvin Harrison.

Cardinals' Michael Wilson: Questionable for Sunday
Wilson is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the 49ers after being added to the injury report Friday with a hamstring injury, Bo Brack of GoPHNX.com reports.
An end-of-week addition to the report isn't promising, and even more so because he's a wide receiver with a hamstring injury in Week 18 for a non-playoff team. It's possible the injury is minor enough that Wilson will play anyway, but the Cardinals may want to hold him back if it's a close call ahead of the 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff. A Week 18 absence for Wilson would leave more perimeter WR reps for Zay Jones, Zach Pascal and/or Xavier Weaver.
