Kone was a sixth-round selection of the Ravens in the 2025 NFL Draft, but he spent his entire rookie season on injured reserve after tearing his MCL and ACL in a preseason game in early August. Kone will be eligible to participate in practices once fully healthy, and training camp will provide him with an opportunity to earn a depth spot in the Ravens' cornerback rotation.

Isaac spent the entire 2025 season on injured reserve while recovering from a procedure to repair a dislocated elbow that he suffered during the preseason. Once fully healthy, he will be eligible to fully participate in training camp practices and preseason games. Isaac has appeared in just four regular-season games for the Ravens since being selected by the team in the third round of the 2024 NFL Draft, so his participation in training camp is crucial.

Ravenell was claimed off waivers by the Giants on July 7 after being let go by the Titans one day prior. If he goes unclaimed off waivers, then Ravenell would revert to the Giants' injured reserve and be forced to miss the entire 2026 season.

20h agoCaldwell-Pope (finger) agreed to a buyout with the Grizzlies on Saturday and plans to sign a one-year, $3.9 million contract with the 76ers, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.
After exercising his $21.6 million player option in June, Caldwell-Pope is set to join LeBron James and the 76ers for the 2026-27 campaign. Caldwell-Pope was traded from Orlando to Memphis in June 2025 and appeared in 51 regular-season games (14 starts) with the club before undergoing surgery on his right pinky finger in February. He averaged 8.4 points, 2.7 assists, 2.5 rebounds and 0.8 steals across 21.3 minutes per contest with the Grizzlies. The 33-year-old is now expected to compete with Anfernee Simons, Labaron Philon and Justin Edwards for playing time off the bench.

After receiving a qualifying offer from the Nuggets earlier in the offseason, Jones entered restricted free agency and appears to have found a match with the Thunder. The Stanford product saw extended playing time during the 2025-26 regular season, averaging 5.5 points and 3.3 rebounds while shooting 50.4 percent from the field and 39.6 percent from beyond the arc in 22.1 minutes per contest across 64 appearances (37 starts). Denver will have until 11:59 p.m. ET on Sunday to match the offer, per Shams Charania of ESPN, but if the club opts not to, Jones will head to Oklahoma City, where he's likely to slot in as a reserve and provide depth on the wing.

Before missing the final 29 regular-season games due to surgery on his right pinky finger, the 33-year-old averaged 8.4 points, 2.7 assists and 2.5 rebounds in 21.3 minutes per contest across 51 appearances (14 starts). For the new-look 76ers with LeBron James in the fold, Caldwell-Pope figures to slide into an experienced veteran role off the bench. While he's known for his defense and shooting ability, Caldwell-Pope's conversion rate from beyond the arc dropped to just 31.6 percent during the 2025-26 season.

2d agoTonje agreed to a two-way contract with the Trail Blazers on Friday, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.
Tonje spent most of his entire rookie season on a two-way deal, first with the Jazz before he was traded to the Celtics in February. Boston terminated his contract shortly after acquiring him, then re-signed Tonje to a 10-day deal before upgrading him to a new two-way deal in March. The 25-year-old guard ended up receiving majority of his playing time in the G League between both organizations. Tonje's outlook is unlikely to change as he moves on to Portland, as he'll likely be in store to see most of his opportunities with the Trail Blazers' affiliate -- the Rip City Remix -- in 2026-27.

2d agoButeyets signed a two-year contract with Traktor Chelyabinsk of the KHL on Friday and was subsequently loaned to the Shanghai Dragons, Zach Cavanagh of The Sporting Tribune reports.
Buteyets will opt to continue his development in the KHL rather than battle for minutes with AHL San Diego. The Ducks retain his rights as an unsigned restricted free agent, but it's unclear if he'll ever prove himself enough to be a backup option at the NHL level.

2d agoSchmid signed a two-year, $4 million contract with the Panthers on Friday, per Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet.
Schmid and Florida managed to avoid an arbitration hearing by agreeing to this deal. The 26-year-old netminder had a 16-10-6 record, 2.59 GAA and .893 save percentage in 34 regular-season appearances with Vegas in 2025-26. Florida acquired him from the Golden Knights on June 29 in exchange for a 2028 third-round pick. Schmid is likely to serve as the Panthers' No. 2 netminder behind Jacob Markstrom (undisclosed).

2d agoSillinger signed a three-year, $13.875 million contract with the Blue Jackets on Friday, per Aaron Portzline of The Athletic.
Sillinger and Columbus were headed toward an arbitration hearing, but that's no longer necessary. The 23-year-old Sillinger had eight goals, 33 points, 37 PIM and 112 hits in 81 regular-season appearances with the Blue Jackets in 2025-26. He's finished with 31-33 points in four of his first five regular seasons in the NHL. He has some untapped offensive upside, so perhaps he'll be able to surpass his career high of 33 points in 2026-27.

Seeley made his NHL debut last season, appearing in the regular-season finale against the Islanders. The 23-year-old defenseman logged 15:12 of ice time in that game while producing two blocks. While Seeley could see a little more action this year, he's unlikely to be a mainstay on the Canes' blue line, making him a relative non-factor in fantasy contests.

Grebenkin didn't end up needing surgery to address his upper-body issue. He missed the final 13 games of the 2025-26 regular season and Philadelphia's entire playoff run due to the injury. The 23-year-old isn't a guarantee to be a mainstay in the Flyers' lineup in 2026-27, but he will compete for a bottom-six spot after recording four goals, 14 points, 46 PIM and 86 hits across 55 regular-season appearances last campaign.
