Browns vs. Bengals: Live updates, score, results, highlights, for Sunday's NFL game
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Browns vs. Bengals football game
The Cincinnati Bengals haven't won a game against the Cleveland Browns since Dec. 29 of 2019, but they'll be looking to end the drought on Sunday. Cincinnati and Cleveland will face off in an AFC North battle at 1 p.m. ET at FirstEnergy Stadium. The Bengals will be strutting in after a win while the Browns will be stumbling in from a defeat.
Cincinnati decided to play defense against itself last week, but the squad still came out ahead despite their 85 penalty yards. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Kansas City Chiefs 34-31. Cincinnati's WR Ja'Marr Chase was on fire, catching 11 passes for three TDs and 266 yards. Near the top of the highlight reel was Joe Burrow's 72-yard TD bomb to Chase in the first quarter.
Meanwhile, Cleveland came up short against the Pittsburgh Steelers this past Monday, falling 26-14. No one had a standout game offensively for the Browns, but they got scores from TE Harrison Bryant and TE David Njoku.
The Bengals are now 10-6 while Cleveland sits at 7-9. Cincinnati has clinched a playoff berth as the current third seed in the AFC. Cleveland has been eliminated from playoff contention.
Cincinnati is expected to lose this next one by 6. However, those who like betting on the underdog should be happy to hear that they are 4-0 against the spread when expected to lose.
A pair of offensive stats to keep an eye on: The Bengals enter the contest with 291.9 passing yards per game on average, good for second best in the league. Cleveland has displayed some offensive firepower of their own as they rank fourth in the NFL when it comes to rushing yards per game, with 141.6 on average.
