Ravens' Tyler Loop: Impresses coach at minicamp
Coach John Harbaugh was impressed by what he saw of Loop during the Ravens' rookie minicamp, Clifton Brown of the team's official site reports.
"It was good to see it. It was good to hear it," Harbaugh noted of rookie sixth-rounder's kicking during the minicamp. "I think as much as anything, it's good to hear a kicker, and the way the ball comes off his foot is impressive." Following the release of Justin Tucker on Monday, Loop -- who was first kicker drafted in the Ravens' 30-year history, per Jamison Hensley of ESPN -- appears poised to assume the team's placekicking duties, though look for depth at the position to be added, with Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic noting that Baltimore is expected to sign UDFA John Hoyland (Wyoming).

Ravens' Marcus Major: Officially a Raven
Major signed with the Ravens as an undrafted free agent Monday, Glenn Erby of USA Today reports.
The running back never exceeded 78 carries in any of his six collegiate seasons with Oklahoma and Minnesota. In 2024 with latter university, he finished with 352 rushing yards and three rushing scores to go with 20 catches for 144 yards and a touchdown. Baltimore's top two backs, Derrick Henry and Justice Hill, were big contributors to the team's elite offense in 2024, though there should be roster spots available behind them.

Ravens' Sam Pitz: Signs with Baltimore
Pitz signed with the Ravens as an undrafted free agent Monday, Ryan Mink of the team's official site reports.
The 6-foot-6, 245-pound Minnesota Duluth product caught 71 balls for 940 yards and 17 touchdowns during a four-year college career, including a 33-360-2 line in 11 games last year. Pitz joins a team with two starting-caliber tight ends at the moment in Mark Andrews and Isaiah Likely, though he can perhaps compete for a spot behind them.
