    The Patriots waived Marable on Sunday, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports.

    Marable joined the Patriots on Aug. 12 after spending time in the USFL. He didn't manage to log any carries in two preseason games and will look to catch onto a roster elsewhere once he clears waivers.

  • Patriots' CJ Marable: Picked up by Pats

    Marable has signed a contract with the Patriots, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

    Marable is a two-time USFL champion with the Stallions. His most recent NFL experience was getting waived by the Bears prior to the 2021 season. After his USFL success, he is now going to get a second chance in New England, where he will look to make a big impression in the preseason.

  • CJ Marable: Parts ways with Bears

    Marable was waived by Chicago on Tuesday, Kevin Fishbain of The Athletic reports.

    Marable signed with the Bears as a UDFA out of Coastal Carolina in the spring, but he was unable to earn a spot on the season-opening roster. He had two carries for five yards and one catch for seven yards between the two preseason contests.
